Join our Executive Director, Andrea McGimsey on Thursday, April 10 at 7pm at Skyland Lodge in Shenandoah National Park to hear how Making Trash Bloom is transforming landfill management. We’re replacing turfgrass with thriving native meadows that support wildlife at four Virginia landfills, and engaging students and volunteers in hands-on data collection. The program has also inspired our newest effort to Make History Bloom at our nation’s historic sites. We'll also share how Daily EcoTalks on social media, reaching millions, are making sustainability fun, realistic, and accessible to all.
Visit us at Shenandoah National Park’s Earth Day festival on Saturday, April 19, at Skyland Lodge. Entrance fees will be waived to kick off National Park Week!
