After two years of planning and preparation, we finally have a date to seed the Sustainability Matters Native Meadow in Winchester’s Jim Barnett Park! Join us and our partners, Winchester’s Parks and Recreation Department, on Sunday, April 14, from 2-4pm for a seeding party! We’ll have snacks, kids’ activities, free seeds to take home, a raffle, and more. Feel free to come dressed as your favorite pollinator!
Everything we do for the environment impacts future generations. In honor of that, we’d love for young people to help us seed the meadow. If you’re a teacher or a parent, please bring your students!
Registration is required, so we know how many people to plan for. Please dress appropriately to be outdoors and bring your own chair. Rain date: Saturday, April 20. Keep an eye on your email on Sunday morning; we’ll let you know if we need to reschedule.
The event will begin and end in the POW/MIA Shelter, near the Audubon Arboretum. See map here. Please contact us with any questions at hello@sustainabilitymatters.earth by the end of the day on Saturday, April 13; our team cannot guarantee to be available by email on Saturday as we'll be setting up the event.
We'll also sign you up for Sustainability Matters' email list. We never sell your info, and you may unsubscribe at any time.
