SUSTAINABILITY MATTERS this

Giving Tuesday logo

Giving Tuesday (December 3, 2024) is a global day of generosity during which people around the world support the organizations and causes they care about. And we hope that this Giving Tuesday, you’ll support Sustainability Matters!

Here’s what your support helps us do for our communities:

  • $10 will let us teach one person to replace their lawn with native plants, reduce their reliance on single-use plastic, or take other conservation actions through our monthly webinars

  • $25 buys enough native seeds for 400 square feet of pollinator-friendly meadow (about the size of a two-car garage)

  • $50 will give one middle- or high-school girl a hands-on environmental science lesson through EcologiGALs

  • $100 will go toward educational signage at Making Trash Bloom sites, teaching more than a million visitors annually about the importance of native plants to our ecosystem

Any donation you make on Giving Tuesday is eligible to be matched through a generous commitment by the Shenandoah Community Foundation and Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce, doubling the impact of your donation. Click here to donate!
