In March, the Northern Virginia Daily wrote about the hiring our new Executive Director, Andrea McGimsey. “This is the most joyful, impactful nonprofit I have ever worked for,” Andrea told the paper.

On May 13, the Environmental Protection Agency’s Regional Administrator, Adam Ortiz, visited our newly seeded native meadow in Winchester’s Jim Barnett Park. Our work there was funded in part by a grant from the EPA, administered by the Chesapeake Bay Trust.

The EPA also shared about the visit on their social media.
