Thanks to everyone who voted for our Project for Awesome video, we won the national contest!

This Earth Day, our Making Trash Bloom project hosted Lunch at the Landfill in Shenandoah County, seeding (hydroseeding, no less!) directly on a trash cell for the first time. The media came along for the ride.

We’re pretty excited about our new wildlife-friendly woodland gardens programming with Blue Ridge Wildlife Center. This endangered wood turtle is too.
