It’s a celebration! A year ago, we came together for a joyful party to plant the native meadow at Jim Barnett Park. Let’s break out our butterfly wings again on Saturday April 26th at 3pm to see the results and honor Earth Month together!
We’ll celebrate the growing meadow and three newly installed signs which will engage park visitors for many years to come around the importance of this native habitat. There’s also a call to action for citizen scientists to send in pictures throughout the growing and fallow seasons, so we can track the wildlife and plants that benefit from Rewilding Winchester.
Martin's has generously donated cupcakes and we’ll have face painting and other kid’s activities. So spread the word to your friends and neighbors, and let’s celebrate our beautiful world!
Free registration is required, so we know how many people to plan for. Please dress appropriately to be outdoors.
